.Please see our full Uniform Policy September 2022 (updated September 2022)
This web-page is a summary of this policy for parents/carers
Our policy is based on the belief that a school uniform:
- promotes a sense of pride in the school
- engenders a feeling of belonging
- is practical and smart
- identifies the children with the school
- is not distracting in class (as fashion clothing might be)
- makes children feel equal to one another in terms of appearance
- reflects the sense both of community and of diversity that the school takes pride in
- is regarded as suitable, and good value for money, by most parents
Our uniform is supplied by an on-line service and ordered by parents directly from this site and delivered to home or to our school for collection. We ask that the school cardigan/ jumper has the school logo embroidered on it, however you may find you can source other parts of the uniform from other shops or suppliers.
Please visit the Smarty Pants site for more details and look for the St. Francis school page.

We also have a limited supply of second hand uniform in the school office. We encourage parents to donate any items in good condition to school and these are used as spares or parents can take what they need for a voluntary donation to school funds. Please ask the school office for access to this stock.
