Dear Parents & Carers,

 Welcome to St. Francis Catholic Primary School. We strive together to ensure that children are at the heart of our school, celebrating the fact that we aim to create a happy, purposeful and stimulating environment within which each individual will be able to achieve the highest possible standards of educational, personal and spiritual development.

 We not only aim to teach children to the highest educational standards but we teach them about the teachings of Jesus and how our faith is built upon the Gospel values. We teach our children about God, life, friendships, how to treat others with respect, other faiths and how to carry themselves through life as kind and thoughtful people. In school we use the language of choice, encouraging the children to make the right choice and also how to try to put right our wrong choices through tolerance and forgiveness.

 Our curriculum is broad, relevant, creative and progressive which engages children in an exciting and stimulating way. Staff work very hard to establish and maintain an effective partnership with parents throughout all year groups and classes. Our school has very strong links with Our Lady Queen of Peace Church and is at the heart of our very close-knit community.
