Core Subjects

 The Core Subjects are afforded a greater amount of time within the curriculum and are the key subjects for a pupil's overall development.  As a Catholic school, at St Francis, Religious Education is a core subject and 10% of curriculum time is dedicated to the children's learning in this subject.  Both Mathematics and English are taught daily throughout the school, whilst two hours of time is allocated for the teaching of Science.
